I am a young wife and a country girl who loves God, her husband and family. My mother, grandmother, and great-aunts are all wonderful cooks. Now I am enjoying cooking for my own small family. I like making desserts for my husband and big, delicious suppers. I like every meal to have a good side of meat, veggies, and a dessert. I enjoy baking year around, but especially during the holidays. My father's family is French so I greatly enjoy learning my grandmother's (Memere's) old, family recipes. Cooking has always been a part of my life, and even though I was far too busy in my youth to help too much, being in that atmosphere made it easy for me to run a kitchen of my own (I even surprised myself!) So far so good! (Except for a batch of fudge one time...but we won't mention that)
