About this Cook
I have cooked simple recipes that my Mom gave me since I was tall enough to see over the kitchen counter. These days I am trying to find time to cook at home and more low calorie dishes because it is so much better than fast food.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking and making pies and cookies. I love to eat meat dishes that involve beef and ground turkey.

Black Bean, Corn and Turkey Chili
Great recipe. My first try at a Chili and it turned out great. I used oregano powder instead of leaves and next time I would used the leaves because I think it added a little more saltiness to the chili. Very good recipe. I will make this again.
