Well I already have about a million hobbies so I decided one more wouldn't hurt...in fact it might help. I'd say I am a beginner in the realm of cooking. I love to bake - which is very much following instructions where as cooking...that's a bit more "creative" Macaroni and Cheese - well you can't really mess that up. Cookies - ahh cookies who doesn't love a nice just out of the oven chocolate chip cookie. On Christmas Eve my sister and I bake cookies - mounds and mounds of cookies, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, peanut butter, white chocolate chip, macaroons, etc. We fill a large round table with all the cookies then give some away as gifts and well the whole family eats them. Finally figuring out why the peanut butter cookies were dry - we were using a misprinted recipe calling for WAY to much flour. Ok it was some sort of Chocolate Mousse Cake - it sounded great. To this day I don't know what I did wrong but when you think of mousse you think light and fluffy - this came out as an inch thick brick - it was bad. And since that tragic day I have never again attempted to make a cake by any other means then the Betty Crocker Boxes. Sad.
