Oliebollen (Dutch Doughnuts)
A Dutch friend of mine suggested that I find a recipe for these, and am I glad he did! They were heavenly. My children immediately declared them 'apple fritters' but in any case, my double recipe disappeared long before the ball dropped on New Year's. :)

Day Before Mashed Potatoes
These came out wonderfully, creamy and delicious. Everyone at our family dinner was amazed that they had been cooked the day before and reheated. Definitely a keeper.

Baked Pineapple
This is the first recipe that my two daughters (ages 5 and 4) made all by themselves. It is so easy to put together and cooks up deliciously!
