Day Before Mashed Potatoes

This was delicious. I was concerned about the cream cheese part, but you couldn't taste it..the flavors worked well together and reminded me of the flavor of the inside of a potato knish. Loved this!!

This wasn't bad..didn't love it, didn't hate it..the smell was actually better then the taste. The meat came out a little hard in parts. Was just ok for me..won't make this one again.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

This was very very easy and did come out delicious and moist. The only change I made was add a little poultry seasoning and some chicken broth. Was done in only 3 hrs on high. Will make this again for sure!

This was a bit bland for us. I even mixed in extra sauce to the beef filling and it was still not that tasty. I will not make this recipe again; my son did not care for it at all.

Favorite Banana Blueberry Quick Bread

This was very disappointing..I did not like the hard pieces of the cooking oats..I assumed the oats would dissolve and just give flavor but on the contrary, I was biting are hard pieces of the oats..not pleasant. It tasted like there was too much flour in it too. Didn't love this recipe and won't make it again.

Simple Sicilian Salad Dressing

This is a really simple and good recipe..the only reason I rated it a 4 is because it seemed like the oil overpowered the vinegar flavor, so I doubled the vinegar to my liking and then it was delish!

I really enjoyed this meal. I only changed a couple of things to suit my own taste; I did not use the hot sauce and I used Orzo pasta. It had a really nice flavor. Will definitely make again!

Skillet Chicken Pasta

I enjoyed this recipe. It had a nice flavor, my only complaint is that it seemed to be a bit greasy because I kept adding more olive oil to the peppers and onions to they wouldn't burn - next time I may add chicken broth to cut down on the oil and have more of a saucy texture - this didn't really have enough liquid. I will make again with just a couple alterations though!

Baked Ziti with Sausage

This was really really good. I used Andouille sausage but truthfully, it didn't even need it..next time I think I'll make it w/out meat, its that good and doesn't need anything else. Very tasty and a good consistency. Loved it!

Barbecued Pot Roast

This is an excellent dish. Love the sauce, although I exchanged the can of tomato sauce w/ a half can of tomato soup instead and I also added some beef broth too. Its very tender and tasty.

Slow Cooker Beef Vegetable Soup

This was good..I changed it a bit, using a can of diced tomatoes in garlic & olive oil, I added a drained can of mixed veggies instead of the can of potatoes & green beans since both were in the can of mixed veggie can. I also added a can of rinsed kidney beans. I added some other spices as well.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

I loved this recipe! I took the suggestion of the other reviewer and added a can of diced tomatoes w/ garlic & onion. I also added the garlic cloves from an entire bulb. I added a bit more chicken broth then the recipe called for. It turned out really moist and flavorful. I put it over orzo pasta which worked very well with this dish. Will definitely make again.

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

This was very tasty; I did not add wine and instead, did not drain the juice from the cans of tomatoes. I also added some snow peas and used dried basil since I did not have fresh and it still was very good. I will make this again.

Banana-Berry Nut Bread

Great dairy free recipe. My son is allergic to dairy (and nuts) so I omitted the nuts..I made them into muffins instead of the loaf pan and it took about 45 minutes to bake. The outcome was tasty and super moist..tasted like it came from a bakery! I may add extra fruit next time since it was hard to distinguish the fruit flavors..will try it with fresh blueberries next time. Definitely a keeper in my household.
