Retired this year and had my first vegetable garden. Next year it will be bigger! We have 2 grandsons and I love to cook with them, read to them and play trains with them. We live on a small farm with 3 horses, 4 goats, 1 dog, 1 cat and 1 parrot. I love to entertain - just fun get togethers with friends, or huge gatherings like church picnics or fish fries at our house. I especially like to bake. Our 2 daughters enjoy cooking with me when they have the opportunity to be home for a few days. We share a lot of recipes. My mom was not an especially great cook, so I've picked up my cooking skills from trial and error mostly. I make a great chocolate chip cookie and am requested to bring a batch everywhere we go.
