I am 39 years old.I have a 4 year old daughter,who is very active.I enjoy cooking but I really love baking with my daughter. I want her to grow up knowing the kitchen is a place to relax and enjoy,not a chore when she is cooking.

taking scalloped potatoes out of the oven and forgetting that I had just turned off the burner on top,and sat the potatoes on it.IT SHATTERED IN A MILLION PIECES,I think there was still some potatoes on the ceiling when we moved,ha,ha.

Creamy Black Bean Dip
This was sooooo yummy. I used the balsamic vinegar in place of the cider vinegar and I think it made it even better because of the sweetness factor. Will be making this on a regular basis.

Mexican Dip
you will not taste the soup,it lessens the flavor of the rich chese and makes it creamy.

Joey's Cheesecake
more of a question,why do you use the eggs and bake it? i have always used cream cheese,sugar and vanilla then top with pie filling.i have never tried it this way,is it a better tasting cheesecake or what?
