These cookies are very good. I like them because they aren't as hard as most biscotti. My mom makes a wonderful traditional biscotti that can't compare, but these are very very good. These cookies aren't suppose to be real sweet, if you want a really sweet cookie, make some chocolate chips.

This was delicious! My mom and I made it and she loved it so much, and she's very picky. She wants to make it again & again. Easy to meke too. She makes her own bread dough and freezes so we used that. I think I wouldn't add the garlic next time and maybe add more fennel, but other than that, fantastic and quick and easy!!!
