I've been cooking since I was knee-high to a grasshopper! And, amazingly, I still love it. Love, love, love to bake. However, my waistline doesn't appreciate it as much as my mouth! I'm half Korean, so my favorite traditions tend to revolve around big family-style meals, Korean of course, with friends and family. My mom, who is Korean - go figure!- makes the best fried chicken in the UNIVERSE. Seriously, people practically swoon after just one taste. I've finally mastered the technique and now have people swooning at my feet! One morning, after a long night out with friends, I was trying to whip up something for everyone and decided on biscuits and gravy. Yikes! I'm not sure what the heck I did, but those little biscuits came out like hard-tack! My friends still won't let me live it down.
