This is a great vegetarian gravy! My brother-in-law & Mom are vegetarians & so for our Thanksgiving dinner I made this for them to enjoy & they loved it. A really great recipe for anyone who might be skeptical!

This was amazingly good! I ran out of onions & ended up using french-fried onions for my topping instead. It was so delicious. My husband said it was his favorite dish for our Thanksgiving dinner!

Very easy recipe. I used Russet potatoes which turned out great. I agree with other reviews in using an onion/chives cream cheese. I made this the night before & put in my slow cooker for 2 hours on low the next day...added some heavy cream & butter because it gets really stiff overnight. Overall, a great recipe that everyone loved.
