I make fried chicken better than anyone that I know. I also like fried oysters and chicken fried steak and am good at cooking them the way I like them. I never order them at a restaurant because they never cook them the way I want them. I order things I can't already cook. Also I never go to barbecue joints for the same reason. I have given my recipe to people but they refuse to cook it in the required peanut oil and olive oil mix. It won't taste right (like my recipe) if you don't. I was cooking chicken curry for the first time and bought some curry mix at an asian store. I used the entire package of curry which was about a 12 times overkill. It was flaming hot. There was no quick way to reduce it so it got tossed. I have never tried again. I don't even like it that much.
