My cooking tragedies
I had a great recipe for chicken with lemon and artichokes and marinated the chicken too long in the lemmon.

White Peach Sangria
I made this for Thanksgiving, used frozen peaches and mixed berries instead of the white grapes. I skipped the sugar, and added peach nectar. I poured 1/4 into a decorative pitcher, and added about a cup of club soda right before serving. Great party drink, and pretty!

Upside Down Pumpkin Cake
I made this for Thanksgiving instead of pie, it was wonderful. I lined the cake pan with wax paper as suggested and was able to flip the cake intact with no problem. For the topping I pulsed the soft butter with the cake mix then mixed in the toasted pecans. My 9 year old wanted to decorate, so we used stiff whipped cream and wrote on the cake and put designs on it. I got rave reviews and will make again.
