About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
I tried using Splenda in my baking and it was ok in choc chip cookies, but every other recipe has been a disaster with it:(

Raspberry Jam Bars
I brought this recipe to a friends and everyone raved about how yummy it was! I used blackberry jam, on the bottom layer I added 1/4 tsp allspice and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Once it comes out of the oven while cooling it I put a tea towel loosely over it so the coconut kept extra chewy.

I used cream of mushroom soup, tex mex cheese mix, as well as 1/2 cup of milk. I fried the onions with a dab of butter and added the hashbrowns for a few minutes then added the rest of the ingred. and baked for 25min at 400f This turned out great!

Banana Muffins with a Crunch
I love this recipe! I used 3/4cup apple sauce and 1/4 cup oil, instead of using granola I used Kashi go lean crunch cereal which I added to the flour mixture, and same as other reviewer I mixed the applesauce/oil into the dry ingredients before the rest of the wet ingredients and these muffins turned out wonderful! They taste amazing too, my 3yr old and 5yr old gobbled them up :) thankyou for this recipe
