Fat, 50's and Frustrated..... This getting older stuff is for the birds. I am on my own for the first time in my life and must admit that I am beginning to like it. There's just me and the cat, and I like it like that.... I have 3 grown children, 8 grand-children and 3 great-grand- children. I'm disabled, but now that I have my Go-Buggy (Mobility Scooter) there is no stopping me. Life is Good!!! Chicken and Dumplings, Baked Ziti, Holiday Cooking, Egg Custard Pies, Carrot Cake Cooking with the little ones is an important tradition in my home. The babies start helping Gramma as soon as they are old enough to pound dough. One of our favorite things to make at Christmas is the Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Sticks with Sprinkles. You've never lived til you make those with an 18 month old...... I've never killed anyone with my cooking. LOL My kids will be glad to tell you about the time I caught the oven on fire when I put a batch of biscuits in the oven and then forgot and went outside to hang up a load of laundry. My then 6 year old son, called 911 and told the operator that "Could you please send a Fireman to my house? My Mommy is trying to burn the house down." Kids...... Gotta love em... it's the law.....
