I'm a mom of 3 busy kids and a VERY busy husband. We're so rarely all home for dinner that I don't get much practice cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Teriyaki chicken with Samurai Sam's teriyaki sauce! It's one of the few things I do really well, and my whole family loves it. Thanks Samurai Sam's! :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking and decorating Christmas cookies is definitely #1 (with Easter cookies #2). It's such a fun activity that my kids and I do together, and I have many wonderful memories of my sister and I, and later our children, making cookies with our grandmother.

I don't know that I have any real tragedies, there just isn't much I know how to cook.
