Gouda and Spinach Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2011
I really liked these but I think next time I should use spinach leaves instead of frozen spinach. I don't really like the taste of cooked spinach so it altered the taste somewhat. But the gouda seeped out and that part got all browned and yummy. All in all it is a great recipe.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2011
Oh my goodness! This is the best cornbread I have ever had. It is sweet, which I loved. And it might even be great served with spicy chili. You have to try this. It is so good.

Bow Tie Medley

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2011
I made this as the recipe directed but did add more vegetables, because more is better, right? And I also added some chicken strips from Oscar Mayer. This is fantastic. I thought the extra 1/4 cup of olive oil was a little much at first but once I added it, it made the meal. I would use real grated parm cheese next time. Kraft is okay, but real is so much better. Great as a leftover, too.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
I did use only 1/4 cup of the balsamic vinegar and it was delicious. I also grated fresh romano cheese on top. This is so easy and yet looked and tasted like I could have been in a restaurant. Great recipe.

Raspberry Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2010
I made these one day when I had a lot of raspberries that were going to go bad. The muffins were very good. I took them to work and everyone raved about them.

Chicken Fajita Melts

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
I followed the directions of others and toasted both sides. Actually I put the sliced french bread on a cookie sheet in the oven set at 425. Then I put the sasa, chicken and cheese on top of the toasted bread and put it back in the oven at the same temp. Turned out perfect and even my picky over 20 year old son loved it. Great recipe.

Easiest Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
I love All Recipes. Where else can you find a recipe and then read other people's improvements? I made this for the NFC Championship game (go Vikes) and made the improvements that others made; worcestershire, garlic, consomme. I was a little doubtful at first and even my husband wasn't sure about the aus jus. But when we ate it, everyone loved it! And I have sons who love TGIFriday's french dip the best. So for them to say that this was the best they had eaten, that was good enough for me. Easy and definitely something I will make again. I did use a bottle of Bud. That's all I had. It was fantastic.

Corrigan's Minestrone

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
I did cut down on the potatoes, carrots and celery. And cooked the noodles before adding. They still took a lot of liquid but it is a delicious soup. I added green beans and corn but next time I will add spinach. Really good minestrone.

Decadent Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
This recipe was the best part of Thanksgiving. I didn't change a thing but might only put most of the filling in next time as the fudge sauce leaked out when it sat. Also, the fudge and the peanut butter should be heated before piping on top. I don't recall the recipe saying this. It was so good and a small piece was all that you needed.

Banana Pancakes I

I followed the suggestion of lowering the heat and they came out great! My husband and I loved these pancakes. I will definitely make these again. I put peanut butter on them and ate them that way. So good.

Catfish Cakes

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
Not the tastiest thing I have ever made. It was a lot of work with the cooking of the catfish and then flaking and mixing. I know that sounds like I am whining, but give me a good can of salmon and I am happy. I think the flavor was okay, more onion than I cared for. With all the prep time, I think I will just stick to salmon patties.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2008
Oh my goodness....this recipe is the best I have ever had. I made it exactly as written and it was fabulous. I did line my baking sheet with foil and it really helped. Next time I will be making the thighs on the grill. Very good. Even my son who loves barbecued things loved this more. It is a keeper and very easy. I did put foil on the pan for the first 30 minutes. Very moist. You will love it.

Tomato Gorgonzola Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
I loved the flavor. My husband did not like it as well and he couldn't get over the color. I thought it looked like pepto bismal but he thought it looked worse. I know I won't make this again.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
I doubled the sauce as other readers suggested. It made plenty. It is an outstanding way to make shrimp. Just spicy enough and then the sweetness comes in to soothe. I love this and will definitely make it again. Even tasted great the next day at work.

Cheesy Tuna Mornay

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2006
I'm not sure why the recipe only calls for 1/2 cup uncooked pasta. That wouldn't be enough to feed two people. I put in a box of rotini but kept everything else the same. I omitted the peas and corn since my son wouldn't eat it with them included. Everyone really liked this. It reminded me of Tuna Helper but better. I put crushed potato chips on top to add flavor. Very good. Had enough leftover for lunch the next day.

Lemon Square Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2006
This recipe was very good. I did what others did, decreased butter to 3/4 cup and added almond flavoring. I also squeezed fresh lemon juice and used about 4 of them. It is very lemony tasting and very good. My father loved them.

Breakfast Casserole I

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2005
Very good dish. I used french bread and only put broccoli on half of it, as per my children. I added chopped onions to the whole thing. When I pulled it out of the refrigerator in the morning, I had my doubts. It looked like a mess. But after baking it, we all changed our minds. It was delicious!!! Even my 13 year old son liked it. And that's something. Very good and easy. I recommend it to everyone.

Pizza On The Grill I

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2005
Okay, I didn't follow the recipe exactly. I did use a Pillsbury pizza dough but cut it in half and stretched it thin. That turned out great. I used regular pizza sauce plus whatever we felt like eating that night. It turned out to be the best pizza, bar none. It didn't even taste like a pizza you would make at home. It was so good that I am now going to have to make it again. We made it on a charcoal grill and it turned out just fine. I would say that it does take two people to do this, though. My husband held the grill top while I used the spatulas to flip the pizza, put the ingredients on the pizza and then to take it off the grill. But it was a fun thing to do. I will definitely be making this again, probably tomorrow.

Southwestern Style Chalupas

Reviewed: May 16, 2005
I also followed others suggestions. I added two cans of green chiles, garlic, and used tortillas instead of corn chips. But I used venison instead of pork. It was delicious. My husband was a little leery at first, but really loved it. I also used powdered cumin instead of seed. I will make this again. It does make enough for an army so have lots of friends over.

Ribboned Fudge Cake

Reviewed: May 2, 2005
I made this cake exactly as the recipe stated and it turned out to be the absolute best thing I have ever made. My husband told me not to make it again soon. He ate most of it himself.
