About this Cook
I love to bake and cook but don't always have the time to do it justice. That is why I love the weekends. I can try new recipe and take time to do something different than the same old boring food.
My favorite things to cook
I love making carmelized onions. Very good flavor. Even my picky 17 year old son loves them. I love to put them on hamburgers with some blue cheese crumbles on top. The best thing ever!!

Gouda and Spinach Stuffed Pork Chops
I really liked these but I think next time I should use spinach leaves instead of frozen spinach. I don't really like the taste of cooked spinach so it altered the taste somewhat. But the gouda seeped out and that part got all browned and yummy. All in all it is a great recipe.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread
Oh my goodness! This is the best cornbread I have ever had. It is sweet, which I loved. And it might even be great served with spicy chili. You have to try this. It is so good.

Bow Tie Medley
I made this as the recipe directed but did add more vegetables, because more is better, right? And I also added some chicken strips from Oscar Mayer. This is fantastic. I thought the extra 1/4 cup of olive oil was a little much at first but once I added it, it made the meal. I would use real grated parm cheese next time. Kraft is okay, but real is so much better. Great as a leftover, too.
