Chocolate Chip Butter Cookies

I made this cake and it was gone in less than 12 hours... almost eaten entirely by me! I will absolutely make this cake again. I'd make it tonight if I weren't out of eggs. The only improvisions I made were that I used 1/2 cup less sugar than called for and I substituted whole wheat flour for the entire amount of flour. It turned out fantastic

Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookie Logs

Amazing cookie! I forgot to add the mini chips into the first batch, but both with and without them, they're delicious. The only problem I had with them is that more than half the batch broke while I was dipping them. I waited until they cooled to take off cookie sheet as called for, but many broke.. maybe that's a positive thing because I had to eat all of those ones!

Tofu Tacos I

This us such a delicious taco recipe and very inexpensive to make. My husband, my very picky 16 month old and I all love the seasoning, and I've started making it in mass amounts so we have it on hand. I generally use lemon rather than lime for the recipe because that's what we have on hand. We also buy plain extra firm tofu, so I season it with italian seasoning so it's close to the garden herb.

Greek Pizza with Spinach, Feta and Olives

I was trying to find a recipe to make with the little we were working with in our fridge, and this seemed a perfect fit especially since it was quick and easy. My husband loved it and said that he wants to add this into our meal rotation. I made my own dough from the pizza dough I recipe on this site. We unfortunately didn't have olives, so I only topped it with spinach. My husband wants artichokes and olives next time. Will definitely be making many more times! Thank you for sharing

Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

I have always deep fried my french fries when I cook them, but thought I'd give these baked fries a try. We loved them! I use different seasonings each time I make them, but have made them at least 4 times now. Thanks for the recipe

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

I loved this recipe. Unfortunately they didn't have fresh oregano at the market so I had to substitute dried, but thought it was delicious. It was my first time making a glaze and I didn't realize how easy it is. Definitely a keeper

Fresh Mint and Cilantro Melon Salad

Very refreshing! I added strawberries and didn't change a thing otherwise. I made it for a bbq my husband and I were having and we didn't have leftovers. Made it again for brunch with the same result. Thanks for the recipe

Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel

My husband really likes apple pie but I like apple streusel, so this was a perfect compromise. I did as one reviewer suggested and brushed the pie crust with egg white to prevent it from getting soggy, but it didn't work! I also used 3tbsp flour rather than the 2 as other reviewers suggested and will opt for 3 heaping next time as it was too runny. Delicious overall though!

Dill Gazpacho

I lost my favorite recipe for gazpacho and this recipe was the most similar to it. I normally use cilantro but thought the dill would be a nice variation. After trying it, I wasn't that impressed. I didn't think it had as much flavor. I will definitely use this as the base from now on and just switch the herbs. Thanks for the recipe

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

We loved these muffins! The recipe only turned out 7 good sized muffins and we ate them all when they came out of the oven! My husband and I each had 3 and I made a special one for our 10 month old without the streusel topping and he devoured it. My husband, who doesn't like blueberries, thought they were delicious. I used brown sugar for both the muffin mixture and the topping.

Hearty Vegetable Lasagna

This was delicious! I added broccoli, zucchini, and red peppers. I also used a tomato alfredo sauce. My husband and 10 month old loved it and I will definitely be making it again.. maybe with less cheese next time, it was a little too cheesy.

Fast and Easy Tofu Lo-Mein

This was really fast to make, super easy, and tasty overall. The only thing that I'm going to change next time is adding garlic to the tofu as it sautes, as my husband and I found the tofu a little bland.

Corned Beef and Cabbage I

Having never made corned beef before this recipe, I was nervous as to how it would turn out. I made it for my husband and some dinner guests, and everyone raved about it! The only things I did differently was use beef bullion and added some chopped celery. The meat was very tender and everyone had thirds! Thanks for this delicious recipe, we'll definitely be using it next St. Patricks day.

Beezie's Black Bean Soup

Chocolate Pinwheels

I found this recipe very simple and the cookies turned out great. I didn't use chocolate in the recipe, but rather red and green food coloring for Christmas cookies as another rater suggested. Thanks for the recipe. Will be using again soon
