I'm originally from Defiance, OH and just began cooking my senior year of college (Go BG!). I finally got a large enough kitchen in college that I could try some of my cooking skills. Now I am a teacher in Dublin and had to resort back to the small kitchen at my apartment :( I love trying new recipes but I also love making mom's favorites. Anything in the crock pot is good for me! On weekends though I do like to take my time and try something new besides throwing everything in the crock pot before I go to work. Chicken is my love and there are so many different things you can do with it! I made creme brulee! I was so excited to try something on a more difficult scale, so now I feel pretty confident about my cooking abilities! Maybe next year I could try a Thanksgiving meal! So far, I haven't ruined anything, I just haven't liked the taste of some of the new recipes I've tried.
