ME!
About this Cook
I've been married for 3 1/2 years and that's about how long I've been cooking! I am a retired Dance Instructor and now I am a Middle School Librarian who coaches the Dance Team at ACRMS. I live with my husband and 2 kitties, Hayden and Riley. I want to have children soon, maybe within the next year or two. I love cooking for my family and even my extended family. They also seem to enjoy my cooking, I love to bake desserts and make large dinners. Painting, Drawing, Dancing, Cooking and Music are my top hobbies in my life. I love to spend time with my husband, we usually curl up of the couch and read to each other or watch one of our favorite shows! That's me in a nutshell!
My favorite things to cook
BBQ Ribs, Whole Chickens, Turkey, Desserts, Potato Salad, Tomatoe Pie, and Noodle Dishes
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad taught me how to make his Potato Salad when I was a little girl. He never had this recipe writen down, he knew it all by a dash here and a sprinkle there! I always thought I was paying the closest attention and then later after my dad passed in 2001, I figured out that I really just knew the basics to his recipe. I tried and tried until finally my husband said, 'Honey, I think this is IT!'! So, now I too am just like my dad, with a dash here and spinkle there, the only exception is that I wrote my recipe down!
My cooking triumphs
When I finally made the first meal that my husband loved and enjoyed!
My cooking tragedies
My first meal that I made as a wife, was terrible!!! I served raw shrimp to my husband, thank goodness he knew that it was raw and that it needed to be cooked!
