Better at eating than cooking, but working on it. Mom and grandma are full blooded Italian and the BEST cooks ever. Single mom with kids gone now so have some time to play around in the kitchen. Chicken is the easiest, fish is the best, like to keep it simple but yummy! Of course garlic is a must in just about anything. My grandmother used to make 2 kinds of Italian Christmas cookies that we all loved. When she passed away a few years ago, I self appointed myself to carry on the tradition. I have shared the joy with my 5 year old granddaughter for the past 3 years and hope she will carry it on. When I was a teenager I made homemade pumpkin pie from pumpkins. Unfortunately I didn't read the recipe too well and put in 1 cup of salt rather than sugar - not so good!
