I followed this recipe but I used frozen blueberries and cherries (half and half) and added nutmeg. Everyone loved it! I am definitely going to make it again this year because it was such a hit!

I'm new to cooking and found that this recipe was easy to follow (I doubled the recipe) and came out wonderful! I had some friends over for dinner and they all loved it. The only mistake I made was not letting it sit long enough after baking and it became soupy, but still delicious! The sauce alone is something I would use again for pasta.

I've made this recipe many times now and and it is always a hit! I'm often asked to make it for family/friend gatherings and everyone loves it. I always double the recipe because its usually for a larger crowd and there's never leftovers because people can't get enough!
