I'm a happily married mother of 3 young boys (10, 6, and 1). I work in the restaurant industry. I absolutely LOVE that my mother passed the torch down to me for cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Planning those big meals and putting them together is such a sense of accomplishment! Holiday meals and confections Cooking with my husband over a glass of wine...dipping chunks of bread into tomato sauce to test it...my mother making recipes "her own" by adding heavy cream and butter. Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner! I didn't listen to a recipe and I greased an angel food cake pan....that sucker fell like a soufle. It was awful! Looked like an intertube shaped brick!
