I'm a Christian. Accepted the Lord as my Savior at the age of 12 while parents were missionaries in Central Africa. The best decision I've ever made in my life. Will celebrate my 40th wedding anniversary this year. Have 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law & 6 grandchildren. Still in love with my husband whom I married at the age of 18. A lot of difficult times in our marriage, but so thankful we stuck it out!!! It was definitely more fun to cook when our girls were still at home. Have recently begun changing my way of cooking due to husband's health problems. Love to try new recipes, even when company is coming! I guess they're my guinea pigs, but it's always worked out. Love baking bread from scratch the old fashioned way. None in particular now, but used to be a tradition to have a huge feast on Christmas Eve, when parents, siblings & friends would come & eat food I'd been preparing for weeks. None in particular. Just a lot of fun cooking & eating as a family. When first married & not much money, bought ham hocks & baked them for my husband & I....what a stink! Were renting the upper floor in a house owned by fellow church members & Mr. Arnold came up to see what was going on! We laugh about it now!
