About this Cook
I am a single person with no children but two cats that act like children. I am a very active person and keep myself very busy. I love ballroom dancing and do it at least once a week. I like to cook and bake but not just for myself. I love to try out new recipes and I cook and bake for the people I work with. They primarily love my desserts. However, I made stuffed peppers one weekend and brought one in to work for my boss and he loved it. Now, everyone I work with (all men) want me to make them some stuffed peppers.
My favorite things to cook
I make a mean lasagne and my family mainly loves my desserts. Only because I have been getting them from this site. I have friends that love my cooking and baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our family is Italian and my grandmothers were good cooks when it came to spaghetti, raviolis and anything pasta wise. Everything was hand made and made from scratch and was excellent. I tried making their recipes and it doesn't taste anything like my grandmothers cooking.
My cooking triumphs
My lasagne. My friends love my lasagne and desserts.
My cooking tragedies
Some desserts. The latest one was a Halloween treat I had obtained from this site but because I didn't have the correct ingredients, it was a disaster. I had to buy something in the store to take to the party I was invited to.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake II
This was great! I used fresh blueberries and took a lemon glaze from a different recipe. It was awesome! Really moist. I brought it to work and the guys really loved it! They gobbled it down before lunch. This is probably the best cake I have ever made. I will make this again. I am also giving this recipe out to friends and family.
