My name is Joan. I am a wife of two (God being my first and my hubby being my second), a mother of five and a grandmother of one. My favorite things to do are singing in my church. I love all kinds of crafts, wood, cooking, scrapbooking, and childrens crafts. I love reading God's word and spreading His word to others. If need be by cooking, then let the spatula's fall. LOL! My most favorite things to make are deserts for parties... All my family and friends go goo goo over them. Tradition, Tradition... my oh my! My Christmas Swans, fly so high!!! No goose no geese, just flying treats. Once you eat them, you'll love there sweets. My favorite cooking triumph is making my homemade (chicken)--->shecken Soup Ala Mom. It's called that because my youngest daughter could not pronounce chicken... So I call it Shecken Soup Ala Mom. One of my best dishes. My oldest and youngest son called me the bestest cooker . To cute. I just love my kids. Bought a roaster chicken for a holiday meal and after it was stuffed and thoroughly cooked... When I started to carve it... The entire inside of the bird was a green color... YUK!!! Good things always come from catastrophies however... I got double my money back for the not so feeling good bird...LOL
