I'm married and the mother of three children. I have two 11 year old boys and a 2 year old daughter. I love to spend time with my family. I love cooking and baking. I also collect cookbooks and recipes. My favorite thing is to bake. I love baking muffins, quick breads, cookies, cakes, pies, well just about everything. I also enjoy making different kinds of desserts. I love to find quick and simple recipes for dinner during the week. My favorite family cooking tradition is baking Christmas cookies. My husband and children usually help me every year. We make anywhere from 30-50 different kinds of cookies. I am very proud of my cookies. Everyone comments on how beautiful they are and how great they taste. I have also made and decorated Birthday cakes for my children. I have burned batches of cookies because I put them in the oven and forgot about them. I have also made cakes that I didn't grease the pan well enough and the cake wouldn't come out.
