Pecan Sandies

Well, I made these as a little suprise for my parents when I came to visit and lets just say that they ended up fighting over them!!! They loved them! My mom hid the last few for herself because my dad ended up eating more than half the container!!! Heheheheh

Peanut Butter Bars I

Wow, these really taste like a reeses peanut butter cup!!!!! I made them and they were gone in a flash!!! Everyone is requesting them as a treat for Christmas so I think I might pruce them up with red and green m&m's.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

This recipe rocks! I did a few little changes though. I used a hot cereal that contained oats and barley and other healthy stuff and used 2 cups of that, and 1 cup quick oats. I also threw in a awesome fruit mix I got at Trader Joes that had pomegranate, raspberries, and black currants. I did also use half white flour and half wheat. Wow, it turned out amazing and I had a bunch of people ask me for the recipe! Yummmm..

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Wow! I have never made zucchini bread, but was really interested because I love trying new breads. Well, this came out perfect!!! I followed the recipe exactly. I took one loaf to work and it was gone before I took a second look! This recipe is a keeper!!!

Chocolate Orange Cookies

YYUUUMMM!!! I was a bit nervous to make these at first, but they are awsome! I did play with the recipe a bit though. First, I used half white and half whole wheat flour. Also, I used the zest of a whole orange (a pretty big one). I also added a splash of orange juice to the orange part of the dough and added a bit more flour to make it stiffer. I used cocoa powder for the chocolate part to. I couldnt be happier with the way they turned out!!!

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

This salad is a little more tangy than I am used to, but in a good way. When I first made it, I thought it was too tangy, then I let it sit in the fridge for a few hours and when I tasted after that, it was amazing. I did add cauliflower and broccoli slaw to it and left out the onion and onlt added 1 tsp pepper. It was awsome!!! Its only been here for about a day and is already half gone just between me and my fiance!!!

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies III

I really dont know why everyone didnt give this recipe 5 stars?!?!?! These are the best! Yes, they are a cakey like cookies and that is just what I like. I also like that these cookies stay thick!!! I mean thick!!! I have been looking for a thick and chewy cookie and I finally found one! I took some to work and they were gone in a flash! I will definatley keep this recipe around!!!

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Wow, this recipes rocks! I have only made bread once before, but this recipe is really easy and I didnt have much of a problem. I did cut the batch in half and still ended up with 2 loaves. I also, after reading a few other reviews, cut up some apples and added that to a loaf before I rolled it up. I took them to work and they were gone when I turned around!!!! Great in the toaster with the slightest bit of butter. Yummy.

French Bread

This was my very first time ever making 'real' bread (not like batter breads like banana bread). I was really nervous so I cut the recipe in half just in case it didnt turn out I wouldnt waste that much. I followed the directions very carefully and cut a few minutes off each cooking time since I made two breads out of the half batch. I was really happy with the results. Lets just say one of the breads is already amost gone and my fiance just keeps cutting off slice after slice. This is definatley a keeper!!! Thanks for the recipe!!!

Sugar Cookie Icing

This is a wonderful icing recipe. I did have to play around (like some other reviewers mentioned) with the amount of milk and powdered sugar, but got the consistency I was looking for and my Easter cookies turned out beautiful!!! And not to mention yummy. :)

The Most Incredible Garlic Bread

This had to be by far the best garlic bread ever! The only thing I changed was that I used Italien Bread instead and just made big slices. Me and my finace' both agreed that this will be made again very soon.

Chocolate Frosting I

This frosting is amazing!!! I followed the recipe exactly and only left out around 2 Tablespoons of powdered sugar because I had the consistency I was looking for. All I can say is YUMMMMMY!!!!! I used this on the Peanut Butter Brownies on this site.

Fluffy Cake Doughnuts

While this doughnut didnt taste like a fried doughnut, it was still rather delightful. I followed the recipe exactly and am quite happy with how they turned out. The only thing I did different was used a mini bunt pan since I didnt have a doughnut pan. This didnt effect the out come of the doughnut what so ever. I also made some with cinnamon and sugar. I did this by greasing the mini bunts and they sprinkling them with the cinnamon and sugar mixture. After I put the batter inside, I then sprinkled the top with the cinnamon as well and they are delicious. I will make these again~ Thanks for the recipe!!

BREAKSTONE'S Sour Cream Scalloped Potatoes

This recipe rocks! I altered it a tiny bit by using frozen hash browns and by adding broccoli. I also cut it in half and baked it in a 9X9 glass baking dish and it still turned out amazing. I only hope the left overs are as good as the initial day. :)
