About this Cook
My name is Heather. I live in a medium sized industrialized town on the Gulf Coast in Texas with my husband and our two children.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook good old traditional Southern cooking. I also love Italiano and Mexican food. Mostly Southern comfort is where my base is... however, I am delving more into the healthier staples everyday.

Chicken Fried Chicken
Very yummy chicken. One of my husbands favorite dishes and I didn't have to change a thing!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
This is an excellent and flavorful chicken. I will double the seasonings next time, but that is only a personal preference and it probably doesn't need it.

Salisbury Steak
This recipe is good as written, but even as a ketchup lover I found the ketchup taste a bit overwhelming. I will probably cut it in half the next time I make this. And I will double the sauce. My husband loved it though and I loved how very easy it was.
