Cooking for family and friends brings joy to my being. People attend my dinners with regularity and ask many "how to" questions.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The most enjoyable cooking traditions are at Christmas time. My bufett consists of pork or beef loin or prime beef prepared on the kettle grill. Cold shrimp, salmon balls, accomping vegetables and a variety of delicious deserts.

BREAKSTONE'S Moist Sour Cream Pound Cake
This is an excellant recipe. The finished product looks exactly as pictured. The texture is light and compact and the cake burst with flavor of butter and vanilla. It is moist but don't compare it to the pudding/box cake receipes for moistness. Also, traditional pound cakes are dry; this is moist! This is the receipe I will use for pound cakes.
