About this Cook
I'm a teenager who's just beginning my cooking endeavors. I'm inspired by my mom's delicious cuisine. :D
My favorite things to cook
I'm into baking, but my mom is teaching me more about cooking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have a big day before Christmas where we bake all sorts of treats. I also love making dinner with my mom.
My cooking triumphs
None to speak of yet... Not catching anything on fire?? :D
My cooking tragedies
Once I forgot to add salt and baking powder to a batch of brownies I was making for my new neighbors. I realized this about 3 minutes after I had put them in the oven, and proceeded to stupidly try to stir it in the pan. It turned out to be some disastrously salty brownies. They never did make it to the neighbors.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies
These are fantastic!! I made a batch for my family and they loved them. Be sure to not overcook them, I found that the ten minutes was perfect and gave them a crispy outside and a softer center. Also make sure you chill the dough a bit. I too added some extra flour and peanut butter (about 1/4 cup of each) and rolled the balls in sugar before pressing them with a fork. Super rich and tasty!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
I was craving peanut butter cookies so i decided to try these. Not the best, but they would work in a pinch or for a gluten-free diet. I followed someone else's advice and used 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I also added a dash of vanilla and a teaspoon of baking powder. I found that they baked well but were too grainy from the sugar.
