this is the exact recipe my mother has been making for 30+ years. don't change a thing! soft and fudgy and a little messy - everything a cookie should be!

Gingerbread Men Cookies

yummy. soft and flavorful. didn't change a thing with the recipe. found that my cookies came out smoother in appearance when the dough wasn't quite so chilled and had been "worked with" a couple of times (ie. the scraps made into a new disc and rolled.)

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

this my family's one and only apple pie recipe now. it is so, so good. no need to change a thing, but remember to put some foil on the bottom of your stove, as this pie oozes all over!

Aloha Chicken

i thought this was a great variation for an asian chicken recipe, and my only change was boneless/skinless chicken breasts. my children didn't like it as much as i thought they would, but what do they know - ha!

Lighter Banana Muffins

very, very good considering there was no fat. i was fine with 3 bananas but did add 1/2 cup of applesauce. moist and flavorful, "crowned" beautifully and didn't stick to the pan.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

my whole family loved this recipe!! i couldn't grill (it was raining) so i followed the suggestion for 40 minutes at 400 degrees - perfect. my only substitution was port for sherry as i didn't have any sherry on hand. thanks for the great recipe!
