Making the same thing twice is a bit of a bore to me, but when a recipe is just too good, I am willing to repeat. Have casserole, will eat. Casseroles are my favorite to eat and cook. Love any kind of comfort food. If it is creamy or gooey, I am a fan. I appreciate anything that is economical. Love things with lots of veggies (not necessarily for the taste, but all that chopping). Hate to prep chicken. If a recipe calls for cooking, chopped chicken; I always think twice. Being from Tennessee, southern cooking is my backbone. I love the way southern cooking is simple and satisfying. It makes my heart happy. It's always nice when a recipe calls for lard. Chicken and pears in vanilla sauce. Fancy, impressive and very good. I took a cooking class and the instructor demonstated this dish. I also like to take everyday dishes, like beef stew, and make them super delicious. I once made a spanish rice dish that called for green chilies. I mistakenly put in jalapenos! Muy Caliente! I don't like to sweat when I eat.
