The best apple pie! Although it is not "traditional," it is great!! For those who aren't much of a sweet tooth I wouldn't recommend this recipe. The things that I have changed and will continue to do are: Using 3 or 4 apples compared to 2 and adding at least a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, about a 1/4 cup of brown sugar and about a 1/3 cup of oats to the apple mixture.

Needs to marinate longer. I have cooked salmon before with a similar recipe and it comes out much better if you marinate for at least 4-6 hours, however, I usually try and marinate it over night. Also, be careful about cooking the salmon with much of the juices of the marinade because the brown sugar can cause it to burn. I've given it five stars because it is a great base recipe, but I highly recommend adding about a 1/4 cup of bourbon and some cut up green onions. Superb!!
