A Southern Fried Chicken

This was very good. I soaked the chicken in the buttermilk mixture like others said. That helped the flavor get down into the meat. I think I'll keep using this one for a while.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

This was good cornbread. It has very nice texture and is good and sweet. If you're looking for a moist, sweet cornbread then this is the recipe for you! I only gave it four stars because I was expecting something a little different.

Blueberry Coffee Cake I

One word: FANTASTIC!! I've been asked several times for this recipe. I love it and so does my family. It's very simple to make and has the best flavor. A great way to use up those extra blueberries.

Chocolate Pound Cake III

This cake is just fabulous. It's not overly chocolaty, so that gives it room to add more if you'd like. I added a nice glaze to the top just to make it look nice, but the cake alone would've been just fine. Next time I might add some chocolate chips just to give it a little something exta. Thanks for a great recipe!!

Guacamole

This is fantastic!! My first time making homemade guac, and I must say I love it! I didn't change a thing. The only problem I have is I like my guac a little more smooth. I don't know how to make it that way without it turning out runny. I will always use this recipe and I'll never change it. Thank you so much for sharing!!

Sticky Sesame Chicken

I didn't care for this much. My boyfriend said he loved it, but no one ate the leftovers. It was very simple to make which I love. It just didn't have the flavor I was looking for.

Egg Salad I

I think the rating of this recipe depends on how you like your sandwiches. I personally like mine with a lot of sauce. So that is why I only gave it three stars. I had to double the mayo and mustard. I only had yellow onions on hand so I used 1/4 of one. Not bad, but I'll use a red one next time. The dill gave it great flavor, and yes the paprika gave it a funny color. Overall, the taste was wonderful. I will use this recipe (with my changes) over and over. Thanks for sharing!!

Baked Pork Chops I

DON'T CHANGE A THING!! Wonderful, wonderful recipe. The sauce was fantastic, and the chops were so tender we cut them with forks. I used really cheap cream of mushroom and I think it made the sauce too runny. So after I put it on I didn't cover it hoping that it would thicken a little. It turned out perfect. I even see ways of making the recipe quicker for busy nights! This recipe will be a main stay at our house. Thanks a lot!!!

Simple White Cake

This wasn't too bad. It was a little dense for my taste. It would be easy to overbake and turn out dry. Just not what I want in a cake. Very easy to make, though.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

I made this exactly like the recipe states. The flavor is GREAT! The dough did spread a little thin in the bottom of the pan. It baked out great, but I think it could stand to have more of a bottom layer. If I wanted to make the coffeecake thicker, I think it would be easier to use a slightly smaller pan. Otherwise, I would have given this five stars. I am definately making this one over and over. Thanks for the great recipe!

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

I've found a new glaze for my ham! My family loved the taste of the ham. The drippings made an excellent gravy that I could use on the meat and potatoes. Don't change a thing!!

Banana Pumpkin Bread

This is great! What a combination of flavor. The only problem I had was there was too much batter for the loaf pan and it overflowed into my oven. It was worth it in my opinion.
