I have an adorable 8 year old sister, 2 loving parents, and 1 crazy (possibly paranoid) cat. I'm in middle school, and I'm a funky nerd at heart. Most kids are conservative at my age, but I like to not only think outside the box, but BE outside the box :)! I wear my hair in a wannabe-afro because it wont go into a full afro ( my hair can barely hold anything!), I want to be a botanist, and I wear ripped-up-paint-splattered jeans with dresses. I love to be funky and experiment with my look, because if you don't have fun and try new things, you won't experience half of life! :)
My favorite things to cook
I loooove to bake (and eat) cookies! Then again, who doesn't? I also love to cook cakes, pasta's, pasta sauces, pizza (from scratch of course!), differant kinds of soups, a variety of breakfast items.... hmm, at the moment I'm drawing a blank for any more, but I'm sure there are a lot of other things I like to cook to!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas Eve,my Mom and I make the dough for Cinnamon rolls and set it out by the fireplace to let it rise overnight. Then on Christmas morning we make the frosting, smear it on the dough, and bake it!
My cooking triumphs
My Dad ate my whole platter of cookies in about 30 minutes, if you count that as a triumph. Other than that, I haven't had any real triumphs. But then again, I haven't really entered much.
My cooking tragedies
I melted the bottom of a microwave, made pasta explode, and confused horse raddish with mayonnaise. That was disgusting!
