With the sour cream (or plain yogurt in a pinch) this bakes up evenly (center is done w/o the edges being over done) and is delicious. This is our favorite banana bread recipe! I do mash the bananas instead of slicing; mainly because I am often using overly ripe bananas from out of the freezer but Ido think it distributes the bananas throughout too.

Very easy to make with ingredients we usually have on hand and quite tasty too for a change from the regular ketchup and mayo. Keep in mind that it makes a lot. Thanks for the recipe!

4.5 starts according to the family vote...yum! Ran out of regular baking cocoa so we used dark cocoa instead. Tasted great, the color was of course a little different though :). We will make this again on cold winter days in Wisconsin!
