Low-Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins

Delicious! We all loved them. A little bit TOO moist maybe...I might try cooking them a bit longer next time or maybe use a little less apple sauce.

I hate tuna with a passion, but this was actually really good! I only used about 3 tbsp of mayo and it worked out perfectly. The whole family loved it too!

Butter Chickpea Curry

Amazing! I ate a ton of it before dinner was even served! I did saute the onions in 2 tbsp butter to make it a true "butter" chickpea curry.

Light Oat Bread

Great! Perfect taste and texture. It was so soft that I almost couldn't cut it into good slices. I think I may have accidentally put in too much yeast because it nearly blew the lid off my breadmaker! Will definitely make again.

Whole Wheat Pancakes

Great flavour, easy to make! I made a double batch and the 2 1/2 cups of buttermilk was perfect for the double batch. I added a banana and it was great!

Quick and Easy Tuna Casserole

I wish there were half stars, because I would give this a 4.5. Very quick and easy! The only thing I would do next time is saute the onions first. I hate tuna, but I enjoyed this!

Italian Style Meatloaf I

The flavour is fantastic! I had to cook it about 20 minutes longer than stated. The consistency has sort of put me off...it's mushy and almost pours out of the pan. You can't cut a slice. I'd almost think it was still raw if I hadn't checked with a thermometer. If you can get past the consistency it is very good!

Belles Hamburger Buns

We thought this would make excellent BREAD! It was way too dense for a hamburger bun. It's so hard that with every bite, the burger would get squashed and break apart, making it very messy eating. Very tasty bread though!

Portuguese Cornbread

This is not like the Portuguese cornbread that I'm used to. This is very dense and heavy. It did not darken up as much as I thought it would and to me it tastes heavily of olive oil. I don't think I'd make this again. Also, the second rise needed longer I think.

Portuguese Favas

Excellent! Just like my Portuguese mother-in-law makes! I used just 1 tsp of red pepper flakes and I think next time I'll use just a tad less than that. ETA: My IL's thought that it wasn't spicy enough! They said that in Portugal, you eat favas while drinking wine and it is supposed to be spicy.

Tonkatsu / Katsu Sauce

I've never had tonkatsu sauce before. So I don't know if it's the recipe, or just our tastes....but it was disgusting. Oddly spicy and just tasted like spicy ketchup. Nobody ate it. Blech!
