Chicken Tikka Masala

This is fantastic. Of course, without the salt. I used a little garam masala in place of on of the one cumin tsp. I have tried 2 other recipes and this was the best so far.

Gluten-free Peanut Butter Cookies

These were really surprising. I made them for a friend who can't eat wheat. I suggest making the balls and then laying them on paper towels to soak up some of the oil. They were more cookie like and less oily.

Company Chicken Pasta Salad with Grapes

This is really good. I used canned chicken and it was still good. I added onions and did not put the pasta in. instead, I filled large pasta shells with it. Very good.

Poor Man's Pepper Steak

I liked this but, I can't give it too many stars because I doctored it up quite a bit. I added celery and a ton of pepper and salt. I used beef broth instead of water. After it had cooked for about an hour and a half I made a flour slurry with half a cup of milk and 3 tbs flour and added it to my beef broth. Then put it back in the oven for about half an hour. It cooked down more and was much more flavorful.

Super Grilled Salmon

I'm sorry but this was way too sweet. I followed this recipe to the T except I used merlot and marinated it less. I thought that the marinade was too strong a flavor for the already strong salmon. It just overpowered the fish too much. I only marinated it for 4 hrs. Usually, when I read a bad review amongst many rave reviews I say to myself, oh they just did something wrong. Maybe I did do something wrong by using merlot. But really, I love Salmon and don't think that this marinade goes well with it. Sorry.

Panzanella Salad

This recipe is very good. It is especially good because you crisp the bread in the oven first. I used a very dense, crusty rosemary bread. They were not soggy. I did everything just the way the recipe said and it was very delicious.

Cottage Meatloaf

This was fine. But it wasn't the best meat loaf I have ever had. I did not use the tomato juice. Maybe that was the problem. It did not fall apart though. My husband did not like it. But he doesn't like anything.

Baked Buffalo Wings

These were really good. I did not think they were soggy at all. I did not drench them in butter before baking them. I drizzled the butter on when they were almost done. I only refrigerated them for half an hour and I doubled the garlic powder. I also only used 3 tsp of cayenne. But I think they turned out great!
