Wonderful Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
I followed the advice of others and only cooked for 40 minutes in a preheated oven, it was a nice golden brown when ready. I also added the cinnamon and sour cream which added to the flavor. It did sink a little after taking out so I'm not sure if it was the pans i used (I used with the wilton even strips)or if I should have cooked it longer :)

Simple enough for a beginner like me but I found it could use a little more spice for flavour.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Love this recipe, have made it many times using both ham or bacon. I am not much of a cook and this was very simple for me to make and I followed the recipe as is. I've been asked for it many of times.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
Brought to a potluck lunch at work, everyone loved it. I used apples, kiwi, blueberries, strawberrys and a peach with no sugar added strawberry preserve. I took the advise from others and didn't add any extra sugars. I also used the advise of using a bag to coat the chips, worked wonderful. Time consuming but well worth it, a summer favorite for our family

PHILLY Blackforest Stuffed Cupcakes

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
I have made these twice and had good reviews at work and home. I followed most of the recipe but instead of using the the cool whip for icing I used premade cream cheese icing which i found stored nicely overnight. I also used an ice cream scoop to put the cake filling into the cupcake holders - worked like a charm. I filled it 3/4 of the way so the filling wasn't to far on the bottom to make it soft and wasn't to close to the top to make it pop off when you are trying to unwrap it to eat. Thanks for the recipe, it sure has became one of my favorites
