Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
I made this last night for dinner. I loved the idea of putting it all in the crockpot and it be done in 7 hours. It was so easy. The flavor was good. I used Frank's Redhot Wing Sauce. The vinegar really came out in it. I would think about trying a diffrent brand next time, but other than that we really liked it. I also topped ours with some blue cheese dressing. Yummy!

Coconut Bread

This recipe is ok. I made it exactally as written, but I feel it needs more of a coconut flavor. The almond flavor was to much for me. I would consider cutting that in half or maybe adding coconut extract instead.

Watergate Salad

Yummy! Just like Nana makes. I left out the nuts. I think the pistachio pudding had enough in it. I doubled the reciepe and took it with the Raspberry Lemonade Pie to a Memorial Day BBQ. Yummy Yummy Yummy!

Chicken Enchiladas V

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
My family celebrates "Tres de Mayo" yesterday at my house. (We were going to be unable to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday, so we celebrated early...lol) I made these Enchiladas for the first time and followed the recipe as writen. My family and friends loved them. Next time I think I want to try it with steak or sausage. Very very good with wonderful flavors. Super easy to make too!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
Very good flavor. I didn't like putting the onions in raw. I think next time I will saute them in a litte butter before adding them. I just like the cooked taste better. I used 4 cups of shredded hash browns instead of cutting up potatos. I just don't have the time for all that cutting. I would make this again. I used my leftover Easter Ham for this recipe. Yummy!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
They were easy to make once I got some help fropm people who made it before. I followed the directions and it was a mess. You need to pop these in the freezer for an hour or so before you dip them, or they will fall apart. Very tasty, but I doubt I will make them again.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
I loved this soup. I followed the recipe exactally with one exception. I used leftover rotissery chicken from the night before and added it to the soup instead of preparing my own. No other variations. My family loved it.

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
This was very good. I preped it the night before and my husband popped it on the grill after work. I think the Pork cut is a little to thick for my liking. I had to cook it longer then the recipe called for. I think I would go with 1 3/4 inch chops instead. Other than that, it was great.

Bacon Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
I loved the receipe. I made it last night for the three of us. Me, my husband and 14month daughter. It was wonderful. I did make a modification -- I used chicken broth instead of water, and 2 1/2 cups of shredded hash browns instead of cut up potatos. Much easier then peeling and cutting them. I love to receipe cheat! Great receipe, and I will make it again.
