I live in a country where some of the ingredients are hard to find... but the recipe sounded so good, I was determined to try it. I substituted cooked dry navy beans for black beans. Rather than use bread crumbs, I blended 1/2 cup of oats and 2 slices of toasted bread in the food processor. I didn't add as much spice as suggested, but will next time. My meat-eating boyfriend savored them as much as I did! Thanks!
