I am a teen in BC. Even though I live in Pitt Meadows, I consider myself a Vancouverite. I have a dog named Cookie Monster is One Tough Cookie, and my dad has four birds which I named. Their names are Phoenix, Arrow, Sammy (acutally, my cousin named him), and Twidgidy Spaz-Spaz Ow-You-Bit-Me. He bites.
As you can see, I LOVE animals. And, of course, I also love cooking!
My favorite things to cook
I love making up my own drinks, desserts, and snacks. I also like putting my own flare to something that came out of a box or can.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking tradition has to be my families tendancy to argue in the kitchen. We have a good sized kitchen (I just realized, it's actually bigger than our living room), but everyone seems to always end up in each other's way.
My cooking triumphs
My biggest cooking triumph was my first try at gourmet cooking. I made tofu stir fry with sesame asparagus and rice. I hate asparagus, but it was GOOD!!
My cooking tragedies
My biggest cooking tragedy would be when I was making a no-caffein mocha in the blender. The blender jug wasn't screwed onto the base properly, so when I turned the blender to get the base off the machine, I screwed the jug from the base instead, and the machine just started bleeding mocha EVERYWHERE. It was a HUGE mess! I did, however, rescue most of the mocha. It was REALLY delicious!
