Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
These really are the BEST big, fat chewy chocolate chip cookies! I followed the recipe exactly, and I wouldn't change a single thing! I do have to thank the other reviewers for the tips - if you don't refridgerate this dough until it's very stiff, the cookies will spread out too much and get very thin. They do stay really chewy, even then. My first pan spread out that way, but while the first pan was baking, I put the dough in the freezer, and the next pan came out just perfect! These taste just like the cookies from the Mrs. Fields shop at our local mall. I've got a double-batch of dough chilling now to bake for the Memorial Day weekend, and I'd bet not a single cookie makes it back from our camping trip!
