I was craving creamed peas so I hunted for a recipe and found this one which added one of my favorite ingredients...bacon! I didn't have regular bacon on hand so I substituted pre-cooked which left me with no bacon grease. I used butter instead and added a little garlic powder and onion powder. Also used frozen peas instead of canned. Regardless, the dish was delicious and comforting.

I used several of the reviewer's suggestions...phyllo cups, substituted 1/2 the mayonaisse with cream cheese and also added some garlic granules. Doubled the recipe. It turned out great and everyone seemed to love them. They were gone in 5 minutes!

My husband and father both love this. It's quite versatile with whatever fruit and veggies you have on hand! The curry dressing is delicious!
