I have three great kids and one hard working husband! My dogs include Scooter, a crazy Chihuahau, Skates, a very smart collie/lab mix, and Sage, a squirmy little chihuahua mix. I love to cook new things, soups and breakfast items are my favorite new things to try. Salads are a favorite in Spring and Summer. At Christmas, my mom, sisters, cousins and aunts have a cookie exchange. I grew up cooking TONS of cookies at Christmas time with my mom. I was an entrepeneur at the age of 12, when I made brownies for my dad to sell to the truck drivers at his work! Recently, I learned to cook ayurvedic cuisine. I have taken a few classes to learn how to cook this wonderful Indian food. However, my family does not like it as much as I do! With my old oven, everything I baked burned on the outiside while staying raw in the middle! At my son's football dinner, I was supposed to make brownies for the team. They all burned!!! I had to buy them from the supermarket. Boo Hoo!!! Now I have a new oven and have not stopped baking! I recently made granola bars and they came out perfect! Also, my macaroni and cheese is Martha Stewart-worthy! Really!
