Me again!
About this Cook
I'm 22 years old from Albuquerque, New Mexico! I love wine tasting and reading good books. I am a Christian and I love the Lord with all of my heart!
My favorite things to cook
Any kind of comfort food, I love cooking steak and mashed potatoes! Lately i've also been interested in baking and cooking yummy desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Definitely any holiday. My mother always made a huge meal for everyone on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter...we'd have cookouts on the 4th of July, and on birthdays. Cooking and family get-togethers were such a tradition in my family, especially baking lots of goodies during the Winter.
My cooking triumphs
The one meal that came out the absolute best would be when I made meatloaf and mashed potatoes from scratch. It was amazing! I've never been able to duplicate it though for some reason, still trying!
My cooking tragedies
I don't understand why most of my cooking (especially with meat) never tastes as good to me as it does to other people --- Could it be they're just telling me it tastes good to be nice, or am I just weird?

Snickerdoodle Cake I
Tasted just like the cookie! I put sugar and cinnamon on the bottom of the pan as well as the top and it made the bottom nice and crunchy. My family loved it.

Chicken and Pea Casserole
It was pretty good, although not as flavorful as I hoped it would turn out. I used bow tie pasta instead, so maybe that changed a little bit of the flavor, but i'm not sure if it did anything. I would make it again in a pinch, but not to impress anyone.
