My cooking triumphs
My shining moment was when I was the Chef for a Fine Dining restaurant in Colorado. One night we had a private seating for Tom Cruise and 11 of his friends. At the end of the meal he came back and thanked us for the meal saying it was one of the best he had had in town. Very satisfying coming from a man that can eat just about anywhere he wants.
My cooking tragedies
I use alliteration in cooking alot, any way I make cheesecake with candy canes thinking that it would be good, failing to realize that candy canes are peppermint and the end result was horrific. To make matters worse, but possibly Martha Stewart proud, i made a creme d' menthe anglaise and the color scheme was spectacularly 70's but horrific to the palate.
