Slow Cooker Vegetable Chili
This chili was freakin amazing! I just got an old crockpot from my mother-in-law and had to try it out. Boy, this was the perfect thing to try out my new (old) crockpot with. I really liked the idea of a veggie chili but my husband insisted I put meat in it as well. So I added a 1/2 pound of lean ground beef and also substituted red kidney beans instead of garbanzo. The best chili I've ever had! The veggies added so much flavor and really gave it that home-cooked taste. The slow cooker also had a lot to do with that. Three adults (including me) gobbled the whole thing up in one sitting and trust me, we were SO FULL!! My baby even liked it. I also served it with saltine crackers, cheddar cheese, and sour cream. TO DIE FOR!! I must say I'm not the greatest cook but this recipe is foolproof! I will be making this again and again and again.

Meg's Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Loved this recipe! I like how it uses all brown sugar. The only thing i did different was use 3/4 cup semi sweet morsels, 3/4 cup butterscotch morsels, and 3/4 cup chopped walnuts. They were excellent. Next time (as another reveiwer mentioned) I want to do the white chocolate morsels with macadamia nuts. It sounds like it would fit this cookie PErFECT! I also refrigerated the dough before baking so they wouldnt come out flat. well it worked and i am very happy. thanks for the recipe

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions
I realized after I started making this I was out of salt! Well I finished making it anyway and it turned out awsome! Even with no salt. I have made a few recipes from this site and this is the only one that I gave 5 stars. Maybe I just really like potatoes but the chicken broth and mayo really gives this a great simple creamy flavor. I had thought of dressing it up with bacon and cheese but it really doesn't need it, and neither does my waist-line! Perfect as is!
