About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking anything! If I had to choose it would probably be mashed potatoes since I love mashing them and licking the masher :-). Usually half the potatoes are gone before it gets on a plate.
My cooking tragedies
I was baking Mango Bread and forgot to grease the pan. We ended up scooping the bread out since it was forever stuck! Sounds ordinary right? Well 2 weeks later I made this bread again and wrote "GREASE PAN" on a piece of paper. Guess what! I forgot to grease it again!! I always remember with other things but not Mango Bread. It must be cursed.

Butternut Squash Soup II
AMAZING!! I've made it twice already. The first time I made it exactly as written and it was really good. The second time I added 3 cloves of garlic, a dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, and red pepper flakes, and a dollop of cream cheese just as I was about to blend it. For those of you who don't want to add celery because it's stringy, just peel the outside off. That's the only stringy part celery. THIS IS A MUST TRY RECIPE!!!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic
I've made it already three times. WONDERFUL AND MOIST!! I did reduce the vinegar like some suggested and added some half and half for a bit of creaminess. All in all just the perfect chicken recipe.
